Please read these terms carefully before using Pujari Connect

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Pujari Connect website and mobile apps (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. What Pujari Connect Does
Pujari Connect is an online marketplace that connects devotees ("Customers") with independent pujaris and temples that perform Hindu rituals. Pujaris and temples are not employees or agents of Pujari Connect. They set their own services, prices and availability and are solely responsible for the rituals they perform. Pujari Connect provides the booking, payment and communication tools.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it up to date and keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us right away at support@pujariconnect.com if you think your account has been used without permission.
4. Pujaris and Temples
Pujaris must complete registration, including identity (KYC) documents, and be approved by Pujari Connect before they can receive bookings. Approval is a basic check, not a guarantee of quality or qualifications. Pujaris and temples agree to describe their services honestly, keep their availability current, perform accepted bookings as agreed, and comply with all laws, permits and tax obligations that apply to them. Temple administrators are responsible for the temple information, schedules and team members they manage on the Platform.
5. Bookings
A booking request is sent when a Customer chooses a ritual, date, time and address and completes payment authorization. A booking is confirmed only when the pujari accepts it. A pujari may decline a request. Requests that are not accepted before the scheduled start time (or within 5 days) are cancelled automatically. Temple ritual bookings follow the schedule and seat limits published by the temple.
6. Prices, Fees and Payments
Customers pay the price set by the pujari or temple plus a Pujari Connect platform service fee (currently 5%), shown before payment in the currency of the Customer's country. Payments are processed by our payment partners (Stripe in the United States and Razorpay in India). When you book, your payment method is authorized and the amount is held; it is charged when the pujari accepts. If the booking is declined or not accepted in time, the hold is released. Pujaris receive their ritual price, less any amounts owed under these Terms, after the ritual is marked as completed, paid to the payout account they have linked.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
Customers may cancel a booking from the booking page. Under the current policy, a Customer who cancels receives a full refund of the amount paid. If a pujari declines or cancels, the Customer is not charged or is refunded in full. Refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear, depending on your bank. We may change this policy for future bookings; any change will be shown before you book.
8. Disputes
If something goes wrong with a completed or cancelled booking, the Customer can raise a dispute from the booking page. Pujari Connect will review information from both sides and may, at its discretion, issue a full or partial refund, or take action on an account. Please contact us before starting a chargeback with your bank so we can try to resolve the issue.
9. Reviews and Content
Customers may review a pujari after a completed booking. Reviews and any other content you post must be honest and must not be offensive, misleading or unlawful. You keep ownership of your content but give Pujari Connect a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the Platform. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: provide false information or impersonate anyone; arrange or take payment for bookings found on the Platform outside of the Platform; harass, threaten or discriminate against other users; post unlawful or harmful content; interfere with or attempt to access the Platform's systems without permission; or use the Platform for any fraudulent or illegal purpose. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". Pujari Connect does not perform rituals and is not responsible for the conduct of pujaris, temples or Customers, or for the religious or personal outcome of any ritual. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Pujari Connect's total liability for any claim relating to the Platform or a booking is limited to the platform service fees you paid for that booking. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Suspension and Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate an account, or remove a listing, if we reasonably believe it breaks these Terms, puts other users at risk, or is required by law. Bookings already confirmed will be handled under the cancellation and refund rules above.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on the Platform and update the date above; for significant changes we will also notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
